Quantum of Solace

Seeking revenge for the death of his love, secret agent James Bond sets out to stop an environmentalist from taking control of a country’s water supply. The newest addition to the James Bond franchise introduces the newest Bond Girl, Gemma Arterton. The stunning 22 yr old is being thrown into her first major role and is as sexy as all bond girls come.

Why you’ll watch it :

Its James Bond, we always seem to check out these movies, however I’m reserving judgment on this one. Gemma Arterton {Agent Fields} is sexy enough, but that’s not enough of a reason to jump up and see this film. We know there will be a fast car, a couple new gadgets and certainly some parkour.

The Death Of A Franchise:

Daniel Craig is a disappointing James Bond, I don’t care for him. The Bond franchise has lost its sexyness, to be honest. Car chases and superhuman abilities don’t cut it for me, nor does Daniel Craig. I dislike everything that he brings to the James Bond character, he fails everytime he tries to look serious, he is neither mysterious or charming. Daniel Craig looks too much like Jar Jar Binks to be taken seriously.

When did the Bond Franchise lose all its sex appear and sense of adventure?

Long gone are the days of “Plenty O’Toole”, “May Day”, “Xenia Onatopp”, and “Holly Goodhead”. Replacing this once sexy substance of historic female figures is Gemma Arterton as “Agent Fields”. How did this franchise go from “Holly Goodhead” to “Agent Fields”? Gemma Atkinson is sexy enough, but offers little in comparison to what the movies use to deliver.
