Three nerdy kids hire a homeless con artist to protect them from two high-school bullies.

The Truth : Drillbit Taylor is a corny, unoriginal comedy with very few laughs or surprises. Owen Wilson has done this role so many times, its just boring. While the supporting cast of Nate Hartley and Troy Gentile and do a solid job portraying the nerdy freshmen, the story wasn’t enough to carry the film.

The Verdict : Owen Wilson movies generally blow, Drillbit Taylor keeps up with expectations. Maybe Wilson should stick to working with Ben Stiller, its the only way his movies are watchable.

The movie has nothing on My Bodyguard or Three O’Clock High, two classic films about bullies.
