In Eastern Europe, a group of mercs discover a hidden secret in an abandoned WWII bunker.
The Truth :
Ray Stevenson commands a group of well travelled mercenaries on a supposed quest for unclaimed gold in Eastern Europe. They find the bunker they are looking for, an abandoned WW2 Nazi bunker with a secret. A SECRET! OMG!
Zombie Nazi Spirits surround the mercs and wreak havoc that would make the SS proud. The problem? This pile of crap film doesn’t fill in any blanks, show us any friggen action or care to elude to a damn thing of importance.
The SS Zombies .. well we never really get to see them and its not entirely clear if they are zombies, ghosts or what. Here’s what we do know : They can swoop in at will and capture the mercs, shoot real live rounds, but our bullets cannot hurt or penetrate them. Make sense? Not to me either, don’t worry.
Apparently these zombie bastards were part of a Nazi type of Philadelphia Experiment, where they are trapped between two dimensions. Uh, ok.. whatever.
The Effects :
Shitty, there aren’t any. No really, there aren’t any. The entire movie was most likely filmed in a basement and the director’s backyard.
The Action :
Next to none. My dog could eat a box of crayons and shit out more action than this pile of garbage.
The Verdict :
One of the worst movies I have ever watched in my life. I’d rather suck a fart from a dead chicken than endure watching this assault on the senses one more time. I have since hung the DVD from one of my trees in the hopes it scares off that annoying woodpecker who has been visiting lately. Maybe then this movie will finally have its place in history.
There is no explanation why a talented actor such as Ray Stevenson could have done this movie.
Avoid this movie at all costs.
