Feast 2 : Sloppy Seconds, the review.

The Scoop

The much anticipated sequel to Feast, a cult classic in the “B” Movie horror flick genre. The monsters have made it into a small neighboring town in the middle of nowhere and the locals have to band with the survivors of the bar’ slaughter to figure out how to survive.

The Truth

Feast 2 is a mix of Kill Bill, Scary Movie and a mockery of every horror classic you may have ever enjoyed. The film is disturbing on so many levels, I enjoyed it very much. With a touch of tacky blonde bimbos, biker bitches and rediculous looking monsters, I wasn’t sure what the hell I was getting into.

Feast 2 is what happens when a horror film mocks itself, with a dash of seriousness every so often to keep everyone on track. The effects are pretty ordinary, nothing fantastic. But Feast 2 is a low budget movie, they do a good job with the 2 Million in financing they had.

The Action

Abundant. The movie is swelling with action, just maybe not the action you may be used to. Lots of gun fights, attacks and more. I have to admit I laughed out loud when the final action scene took place. The midget catapult was hilarious, bloody original and a piece of comedic gold. I won’t spoil the film, but you’ve got to watch the final 15 minutes of Feast 2 to understand what I’m talking about.

The Girls

While you may not be into topless biker babes kicking ass, while wearing sweet gstrings and leather chaps, I am. Feast 2 has enough babes and nudity to satisfy even the most discriminating horror film critic. Topless chicks yielding shotguns and .44′s is a necessity in a decent zombie/horror film, Feast 2 delivers all of this and more….

The WTF Moment

Feast 2 : Sloppy Seconds wins 2 WTF Awards.

1. The Monster Bukakke : WTF? While performing an autopsy on a slain monster, the corpse begins to ejaculate for 30 seconds on every female in the garage. If that wasn’t enough, he covers old grandma in green vomit, which begins the process of rapid decaying on her body. Shocking? Yes.

2. The Baby Toss Scene : Just when you think one of the bigger slime-bags in the film has a decent bone in his body, we get taken for a loop. Once our new hero rescues the orphaned newborn from the station wagon, our hero sprints down the road to bring the infant to safety.

Well, thats when things go from bad to worse. Our hero can’t make the climb back onto the rooftop and falls back onto the street into the circle of monsters. The solution? Toss the baby up into the air as bait and make a run for it. It works, and we have to endure the results of the bait… very disturbing. WTF was this in here for?

The Verdict

Feast 2 is for the person who appreciates B Movies, Horrors, Monster Movies and satires. Its a fun, often disturbing, journey through the mind of Director John Gulager. The DVD has a nice “making of” feature which I found quite funny as well

If you can’t handle really tasteless situations and gore, you’ll avoid this at all costs. If, however, you love this genre of movies, Feast 2 is a great tribute to a niche that is often forgotten.

Well, it was tacky and .. yes.. uncalled for .. but .. Feast is an atrocity all by itself, and well before that moment. I’m surprised it took you to that point in the film to get disgusted. You missed an incredible ending, where the midget is thrown across the street, on the rooftop, and he misses his mark!

Me encanta la escena del bebé, la mejor escena de toda la película y los “mini-luchadores” lucha.

‘I love the scene of the baby, the best scene in the entire film and mini-fighters’ struggle.’
