Lifelong friends Zack and Miri look to solve their respective financial situation by making an adult film together. As the cameras roll, however, the duo begin to sense that they may have more feelings for each other than they previously thought.

The Truth

Zack and Miri Make a Porno starts out funny, promising and leads you to believe this is going to be a fun film, full of off-collar humor and senseless nudity. The film even presents us with porn star Tracy Lords, who you just know will be getting naked in the film, right? Wrong.

- A film about making a porno that contains almost no nudity? Epic fail.
- A film where you know the main characters are in love with each other, and will hook up in the film? - Epic Fail #2.
- Failure to show Elizabeth Banks naked, in a film where they are making a porno? Epic Fail #3.
- A film with Tracy Lords where she doesn’t get naked? Epic Fail #5
- Asking us to believe a girl as pretty as Banks hooks up with a fat stoner, like Seth Rogan? Epic Fail #6

Enough of the Epic Failure report. Zack and Miri Make a Porno would have been disappointing with even 5x the nudity. The film lacked original laughs and situations and strolls along really slowly with the odd poop or porno gag stuffed in along the way. The movie takes us on a slow adventure to nowhere, boring us along the way.

The Sex

There really isn’t much sex in the film, not much worth speaking of. The reason I bring this sex factor up so much for Zack and Miri Make a Porno, is because thats what a lot of people were expecting when going to the movie. If you think this is a throwback to the 80’s style of film, where women’s breasts are popping out everywhere, it isn’t. And no, Banks does not get anywhere near naked in the film, sorry guys.

The Laughs

Next to none. There’s a tribute to 2 girls 1 cup in the film, that was supposed to be funny but it wasn’t. Banks and Rogan look really uncomfortable together on screen, there’s no decent laughs there either.

What’s good about it?

Not much, a couple boobies here and there to look at. A few naked men for the girls to enjoy.

What’s bad about it?

We are all tired of Seth Rogan’s one character he portrays by now, this movie is yet another example of his limited comedic and acting skills. Hi there, we get it now. Seth Rogan plays a burnout who scores with a hot woman, just like 99% of his films. Please stop forcing this character on us any further.

You’ll Like It If

If you can’t get enough of Seth Rogan’s one character he plays in every single film, I suppose you’ll like it.
