This 2011 movie is a remake of the classic movie The Warriors, from 1979. My only question is, ‘Can You Dig It!’

Bedtime Stories Review

Adam Sandler stars as a simple, yet loving hotel handyman, whose life changes when the lavish bedtime stories he tells his niece and nephew start to magically come true.

The Truth

Its more of the same with Bedtime Stories, as Sandler plays almost the same character as in Big Daddy. The plot isn’t terribly interesting, nor is it creative and its the typical Sandler humor most of us refuse to admit isn’t funny.

The Action

Surprisingly little, for a film built around the idea of wild dreams coming true. We see cheap cgi effects as Sandler rolls through the Greek Stadium on his chariot, not much else.

The Laughs

Throw in your expected Sandler fart gag and yacky facial expressions, and thats about it.

What’s good about it?

Nothing that I can think of. My kids couldn’t sit through it, they found it boring and my wife thought it was beyond painful to endure.

What’s bad about it?

Adam Sandler. I mean really, its the same thing all the time with him, and I congratulate him on that because the money keeps on rolling in. Take a collection of 80′s music, hire Rob Schneider in a cameo appearance (nobody else will) and throw in a few fart jokes and funny faces… thats the ingredient that seems to do it.

You’ll Like It If

I have no idea who would enjoy Bedtime Stories.

Reminds me of

Every Sandler flick ever made.

The Verdict

Bedtime stories was one of the worst movies I have watched in 2009.
