Never Surrender Review

Never Surrender brings forward the biggest names in MMA in their first action movie.

The Truth

Never Surrender is a low budget movie thats purpose is more to entertain real fans of MMA who have a passion for the sport, and understand who the characters are. Sure, GSP, BJ Penn and Heath Herring won’t win awards for acting any time soon, but thats not what the movie was intended for.

Picture Kickboxer, with less of a budget, but more nudity.

The Action

A pretty steady amount of action, and well presented fight scenes, considering the talent available.

The Laughs

George St Pierre’s voice was dubbed over the entire film, which made me laugh. The ‘acting’ was rather entertaining, as was watching BJ Penn in his skin tight wrangler’s fight in the parking lot.

What’s good about it?

Nudity, and lots of it.

What’s bad about it?

Lets just say they could have used a few million more in funding, and leave it at that.

You’ll Like It If

If you hang out on Sherdog daily, you’ll get a kick out of it. If you follow MMA, you’ll get a kick out of the famous faces in the film.

Reminds me of

Kickboxer, Never Surrender.. Red Belt

The Verdict

Die Hard MMA fans will.. appreciate it ;)
