The Water Horse
Angus, a young Scottish boy, finds an unusual egg on the beach. He takes it home and cares for it until it hatches, revealing a creature unlike anything he’s ever seen. With elements of a turtle, horse, frog, and alligator, could this be the mythical Water Horse of Scottish lore?
Angus raises the creature as his pet and the family does its best to keep its existence a secret. But that gets more and more difficult as it grows and grows. Soon Angus and his family must find a place for their water horse — somewhere secluded and safe. Somewhere, perhaps, like nearby Loch Ness.
