As the Roman empire crumbles, young Romulus Augustus flees the city and embarks on a perilous voyage to Britain to track down a legion of supporters.

The Truth : The Last Legion is a fun Action/Adventure movie with tons of fighting and fantastic set design. Aishwarya Rai is sexier than ever, play Mira who is sent to aid in the recovery of young Romulus Augustus Caesar. Mix in a few laughs, and you find The Last Legion an enjoyable adventure from start to finish.

You’ll Like It If : If the mood strikes you for an entertaining adventure, with lots of battles. Colin Firth fans will enjoy his wonderful performance as Aurelius, protector of Rome and young Romulus. Don’t expect Lord Of The Rings, but do expect a well acted out story and performances.

The Verdict : Don’t listen to the critics, they wouldn’t know a winner if it hit them across the face at a bath-house. They can’t relate to a movie without enormous explosions, horrible CGI and busty babes who can’t act. The Las Legion is well worth renting, it deserved a much better fate than what it got. Don’t believe the hate, its a solid movie for this genre.
