Review - Yamaha V3800 Amp
You Are Here : Home / DVD Review / Review - Yamaha V3800 Amp
I treated myself to an early Christmas present this year, and purchased the new Yamaha V3800 7.1-Channel Network Home Theater Receiver. If you care, you can read about my experience with this new killer amp!
The good : Great power, easy to use and setup. 4 hdmi inputs, 3 component video and more power than I know what to do with. I had the amp setup, and configured in an hour. The amp looks, and sounds great. Here’s all the specs on this beast : Yamaha V3800
The Bad : The amp is having problems connecting via hdmi to my motorola HD PVR. I have to run component video to my amp and sacrifice a little video performance. Takes some time to dial in my living room layout dimensions. Having problems setting up my second zone. Somewhat slow in video switching.
